I painted this portrait of Breonna Taylor for the Artists for Justice Show of Black Lives Lost. Breonna was killed by police during a no-knock warrant raid in March, 2020. She was 26 years old, an emergency room technician with plans for getting a nursing degree, buying a house and starting a family. She was a beautiful young woman.
